Altogether, these payouts exceeded <strong>\u00a34 billion<\/strong> for individual term life insurance policies.<\/p>\n<p>But while the numbers show how valuable life cover can be, statistics alone rarely drive people to act. So, what actually makes them take the step?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Caution Leads the Way<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to new research, the most common motivation for getting insured isn\u2019t always a dramatic event \u2014 it\u2019s <strong>general caution<\/strong>.
